A fascinating and rather bizarre manual of “practical kabbalah,” containing folk-remedies and protective (“white”) magic, which was based largely upon the manipulation of the sacred names of God and the angels. The present manual of practical kabbalah contains remedies for all kinds of problems ranging from infertility, difficulty in childbirth, loveless marriages - to remedies against a snake-bite, a rabid dog and even advice as to how to attain invisibility!
