From family gatherings to parties with friends, the image created from this album is of a carefree life enjoyed by the adolescent photographer - hardly aware of the sinister political machinations afoot during the twilight of his childhood years. Images include friends in the countryside, ice-skating on the frozen Main river, family members in formal dress, parties in Rotenburg and Fulda, etc. Among individuals depicted are: Margo Weil, Lucy Braudes, Julius Blumenbaum, Toni Kaufmann, Erich Levi, Bruno Florsheim, Rafael Blumenbaum, Betty Speyer, Max Kaufmann, Weinhold Katz, Frieda Katz, Isi Gans, Frieda Plaut, Luise Blum, Keller Lowenstein and Ruth Schatz.
