Yiddishe Elteren! - Jewish Parents! Do you Want your Children to: * Be Happy * Be Faithful Jews * Be Good Americans… Then Register your Children in a Yeshiva.

(AMERICAN JUDAICA)

Schulsinger Bros., circa

New York

1930

Broadside in Yiddish and English, issued on card.

“Rest Assured that your Child will Develop into a Loyal American Jew.” Issued by the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the United States & Canada and the Rabbinical Board of Greater New York. This broadside interestingly connects American patriotism with loyalty to Orthodox Judaism. This was at a time when American Jewry was not as publicly self-confident as the community grew to be in the post-war decades.
