Second edition of Bertinoro's commentary. On title, letters of word "Mishnayoth" white within individual vignettes. Six Orders of Mishnah bound in single volume. On blank tipped in between ff. 74-75, original manuscript of Yedidyah ben Moshe of Recanati, wherein the Author disagrees with Maimonides' commentary to Tractate Eruvin 2:5; manuscript mathematical computations and geometric diagrams at end.

Italian by birth, R. Ovadiah Bertinoro (second half 15th-century) was a student of the great Italian halachist R. Yoseph Colon (MaHaRI"K) and died in Jerusalem about 1500. His commentary first appeared in Venice in 1548-9 and due to its immense popularity, hardly an edition of the Mishnah appears without it. Amadeo (Yedidyah) Recanati is famed for his translation of Maimonides' Guide of the Perplexed into Judeo-Italian under the title Erudizione dei Confusi (c. 1580).
