summary

The first Selichoth printed in Germany. A highly scarce volume. Relying on the Italian Selichoth issued by Gershom Soncino (Fano, 1506), this edition includes for the first time additional material for a specific Aschkenaz readership, as well as texts corrected from previous censorship.
ff. (121). Short tears and few neat paper repairs, some wear from use, few stains. Modern crushed morocco, gilt extra, in custom slipcase. Folio.
