Contains prayers established by earlier generations of rabbis to be recited on particular days of the year. “Includes additional new matter which did not exist in earlier generations, such as the Selichoth said on the 5th of Kislev, 20th of Sivan, 5th of Av, and during Shovavi’m Ta’t, as well as the prayers said when there is too much or too little rain… These [customs] have begun to disappear and only a few remain in practice. Therefore, I rose to print them again in their proper form, lest they vanish from how they were” (Title).
