Avraham Yitzchak Kook) concerning the Halacha of permitting the creation of portraits by way of painting or photography. This is based on a position by R. Yonason Eybescheutz in his Ya’aroth Devash.

A brilliant scholar and rabbi in the towns of Ponovitch, Mir, and later, Jerusalem. His son-in-law was Rav A.Y. Kook.
