Description

On personal letterhead. Sending Chanukah wishes and heartfelt blessings for a "worthy, speedy match…and success wherever you turn".

summary

Reb Itzikel was one of the most celebrated post-War Chassidic rabbis and many thousands made pilgrimages to him in Antwerp to receive his blessings and advice. He signs here as a descendent of R. Elimelech of Lizhensk “Zechutho Yagen Aleinu”. R. Itzikel was a follower of the Grand Rabbi of Satmar, R. Joel Teitelbaum. Of interest, the letter is written whereby the initial letter of the first four lines spell the word “Ahavah.”
One page. Folds, neatly taped on verso.
