summary

The First Illustrated Venetian Hagadah. An exceptionally scarce and important edition. According to Yudlov the final two leaves might not have been originally issued with this Hagadah, but in fact printed elsewhere by Zanetti. Yudlov also notes the existence of variations among copies of this important Hagadah (see here ff. 8, 13, 16).

ff. 20 (of 22), final two leaves (Grace after Meals) provided in facsimile. Stained in places, trimmed, marginal paper repairs. Later calf elaborately tooled in gilt, worn. 4to.
