A rare, early election poster issued by the German Nazi Party featuring a horse-race between the candidates, comfortably won by the National Socialist (Nazi) rider, here competing against other political parties ridden by “bigwigs, members of the ‘Old Boys Club’ and the Jews.” Issued for one of the two election campaigns held in Germany in 1932. In July 1932 the Nazi Party was the largest faction in the Reichstag and it kept its power in the second elections campaign which took place at the end of the same year. Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany in January, 1933.
