Description
Ovoid form in the Baroque style, the whole fashioned with dramatic and ornate detail, chased with floral and rocaille design, stepped and domed hinged lid with scallop shell thumb piece further decorated along the rims. The whole set on oval platform base. Marked: Axel Salomonsen (Maker). 5 x 7.5 x 5.5 inches.
