Description

- Vintage 2003.

summary

"A combination of anise, spices, Mediterranean herbs and green olives produces this full-bodied aromatic wine. This mid-palate wine should age gracefully, expand when opened and retain its boldness on the finish. The 2003 Domaine du Castel Grand Vin is a Left Bank Bordeaux style blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot, aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, unfiltered. Drink now-2014. Daniel Rogov, 92. Mark Squires, Wine Advocate, 90."
