Response of a reactionary to the liberal sentiments expressed in the previous Lot. The present writer views the Jews as social pariahs, undeserving of Swiss citizenship. At the same time, he throws into the mix anti-Bonapartist sentiment. (Napoleon was viewed as a liberator of the Jews)
