Description
(Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem. 1816-1909). Letter Signed, with official stamp, in Hebrew, on letterhead of the Aschkenazic Community of Jerusalem, to Dr. Moshe Wallach of the Sha'arei Tzedek Hospital, Jerusalem. Written with great love and respect, blessing Wallach as he departs Jerusalem for a well-deserved vacation abroad. Also signed by R. Jacob Saul Eliachar, the Haham Bashi of Jerusalem with his stamp. Unusual to find the signature of the Sephardic Chief Rabbi affixed to a document written on the stationery of the Ashkenazic Community
