summary

The rebuilding of Warsaw. An extensively illustrated volume, which, in line with Communist doctrine, caries not a mention of a Jewish presence in the City, with the exception of double-pages 202-204 that display a featureless mound of rubble, the bland caption reading: "On the rubble of the Ghetto uprising, a new settlement (arises)..."

pp. 368. Minor marginal tears. Original pictorial boards, worn. Folio
