Politische Bilderbogen was an anti-Semitic caricature series which appeared in Dresden between 1892 and 1901 in 33 issues. Jews are portrayed in a most pernicious manner as a blight overruning German society. Although penned anonymously, it is reasonable to assume the author was the poet Max Bewer. See Eduard Fuchs, Die Juden in der Karikatur (1921), pl. 2, 210, 211 and discussion on p. 240.
