Together, two works

The nationalization of the Suez Canal by Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1956 prompted the invasion of the Sinai Peninsula by Israel with the cooperation and encouragement of England and France. Subsequent intervention by U.S. Secretary of State John Dulles brought the Sinai Campaign to a halt and saved Nasser from certain defeat. The two documents offered are the official White Paper and Facts Sheet issued by the Egyptian Government authorizing the seizure of the Canal (previously administered by Great Britain) and its subsequent nationalization
