summary

Baurat Conrad Schick (1822-1901) was sent to Jerusalem as part of the Chrishona Brotherhood in 1846. There, he acted for many years as the City Architect of Jerusalem, in whose position, together with the Palestine Exploration Fund, he uncovered much new archeological information pertaining to the Temple Mount. His intimate knowedge and precise measurements of the area enabled him to produce models of remarkable exactitude.
