An Attractive Contemporary Binding of a Pocket Size Pentateuch. Clearly, Vendramin was vying with the publishing house of Moses Coutinho in Amsterdam, who the previous year of 1701 issued a duodecimo edition of the Pentateuch. Our title reads: “Reprinted in attractive letters resembling the print of C..., Amsterdam.” See Fuks, Hebrew Typography in the Northern Netherlands, Vol. II (1987), pp.428-9
