summary

AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE EDITION. ONLY TWO COMPLETE COPIES EXTANT IN PRIVATE HANDS. The rarity and importance of this edition is self evident as Mossad Harav Kook published a facsimile edition in 1973 in order for scholars to have access to the noteworthy textual differences therein. For a detailed discussion comparing this 1509 edition to other Maimonides editions - especially the Hagahoth Maimoni’oth which are much more extensive with substantial differences, see the introduction by Prof. S.Z. Havlin to the facsimile edition

ff.125 (of 924). Variously repaired, facsimile in places. Modern wrappers. Sm. folio. Sold not subject to return
