summary
What makes this edfition of the Hebrew Psalms a marvel of typography is that the editor Hutter has bolded the root letters (shorashim) of each word, leaving the rest of the word in hollow type. Furthermore, when a root letter in any word does not appear, it is printed in small type above the line. Concerning “Hutter’s Hebrew Bible” see H.C. Zafren, E. Hutter’s Hebrew Bibles in: J. Bloch Memorial Volume (New York, 1960), pp. 29-39
ff. (128). Browned, waterstained, outer margins of several leaves wormed with no loss of text. Contemporary vellum with clasps and hinges (one missing). Folio
