(CHASSIDISM)

Warsaw, Israel Chaim Goldstein, 1927.

Lightly browned, expertly strengthened on verso, small hole on lower margin, printer’s copyright stamp

A fascinating detailed chart depicting the branches of Chassidism from its origins with the Ba’al Shem Tov. The numerous chassidic dynasties are symbolically depicted as branches and off-shoots from a central tree representing the Grand Master, the Ba’al Shem Tov. The printer adds at bottom; “Only copies bearing the Printer’s copyright stamp are original.”
