summary

Steinschneider followed by Vinograd ascribes this pseudo-Venetian imprint to Hanau. However Yitzchak Rivkind and Shaul Asch, basing themselves on a comment in Yoseph Ometz correctly state, it is self-evident by the approbations and the colophon itself that the book was printed in Frankfurt a/Main. See Kiryat Sepher vol. 26, p.320 and vol. 27, p.283-4

ff. 65,(3, of 5), lacking last two unnumbered errata leaves (as does the Mehlman copy). Browned, stained in places, title and final leaf neatly rehinged, previous owner’s inscription on verso of title. Modern blind-tooled crimson morocco. 4to
