Description
Main section consists of six-pointed star surmounted by gallery and topped by dome shaped upper section, the whole embossed and chased with foliate and scroll designs. Central section pendant from chain composed of openwork links, with one ornamented ball, this pendant from small coronet, which matches gallery of star; hook within top coronet. Drip bowl pendant from star. The points of the star and drip bowl bear one set of marks, with maker's initials; the links of the chain are all marked with a second set of undeciphered marks. L: 720mm. Lacking bottom element; some wear.
