summary
Most Moroccan Eternal Lamps consist of a metal framework holding a glass insert. This lamp resembles those more commonly used in Europe, which reflects the international influences upon the Jewish community in this cosmopolitan city. See The Jewish Museum Catalogue, Morocco: Jews and Art in a Muslim Land (2000) no. 20, p.145-6.
