summary

Seldom found complete. The second volume was issued in a differing format, no doubt necessitated by difficulties in obtaining paper. This late 15th century Spanish commentary sharply criticizes the Marranos as apostates, and apparently persuaded many to return openly to Judaism. See B. Netanyahu, The Marranos of Spain (1966) pp. 172-5
