One of the most renowned Chassidic Rebbes, R. Aaron Twersky of Chernobyl (1787-1871) was the oldest son of R. Mordechai of Chernobyl and raised by his grandfather, R. Nachum of Chernobyl.
In this letter, R. Aaron addresses his son-in-law (1827-1904) with great respect. He sends good wishes to his daughter and grandchildren and inquires as to their health. He makes assurances that dowry-funds owed will be settled by the summer, “And if God will add His blessings to me.. in the future.. I will add funds for the apartment”
