summary
Issued to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the First Russian Revolution. Significantly this poster, captioned in many of the languages of the Soviet Union, omits the Yiddish language.
Upon the onset of revolutionary agitation in Russia, the Czarist regime encouraged reactionary circles to divert the anger of the masses away from the government and against the Jews. The result were intensely violent pogroms throughout the Pale of Settlement.
