Interestingly, the text includes seguloth (incantations) to recite in order to stop the flow of blood, and lists in Latin and Judeo-German, chemicals and herbal ingredients to heal the wound and cure the pain. In addition, a listing of some 2000 children circumcised between the years of 1789 and 1829 is recorded
