summary

This is not a traditional Rabbinic Kethubah, but a Karaite Marriage Contract. The Jewish sect of Karaites adhered only to the Written Law (as opposed to Rabbinic Oral Law). Significantly, this Kethubah, like other Karaite deeds, is in Hebrew rather than Aramaic. See S. Sabar, Ketubbah (1990) no.199 for another example, several decades later
Rebacked. 620x910 mm
