Issued to garner publicity and thus funding in order to publish the writings of Mendelovitz’s grand-father, Aryeh Leib Charif. Mendelovitz, a member of the Chabad Community of Hebron was ultimately successful and the work “Kol Aryeh” was published by Israel Bak in Jerusalem in 1866.
