Opening leaves neatly repaired, some leaves provided from another copy, slight marginal tear on upper corner of f. 128 not affecting text, wormed and stained in places. Modern vellum-backed boards. For accurate reading one can only rely on the Salonika edition.” (EJ, Vol. XVI, cols. 707-9.) An interesting note in regard to the publishing history of the Salonika Yalkut: The present volume was issued five years prior to what was to become the first volume, that of the Yalkut Shimoni on Chumash, printed in 1526.
