Est: $1,500 - $2,500
The second volume of a Chumash composed by Me’oded ben Sa’adia El-Chamami. The colophon (ff. 187a) states that it was written for Yoseph Beirav Zecharia HaLevi. The text appears with vowel points, ta’amim and the Masorah based on the Ben Asher edition. Short commentary notations are scattered throughout the volume. Rada’a is an ancient walled city located in the Al-Bayda’ governorate of south-east Yemen. Following Sana’a, it was once the home of the second largest Jewish community in Yemen.
