"This first edition providing the name of the printer is especially rare" (see Mehlman, Ginzei Yisrael 1051). Arranged topically as an addendum to Yalkut Chadash, Shikchath Leket was later incorporated into the Yalkut Reuveni. The author is referred to on the title-page as "Rosh Lekol HaDarshanim" (the greatest of all the preachers). At the time of publication he was Rabbi of Hamelburg.
