Important work containing textual emendations for the correct reading of the various Midrashic texts including Mechilta, Sifre, and Sifra. Includes lengthier notes and comments from a manuscript by R. Judah Gedaliah and other anonymous commentators. The final section, Seder Kedusha (ff. 173v.-181v.) corrects erroneous readings in the Sephardic Seder Tephillah, presenting alternate readings with halachic sources. The Midrashic scholar J. Theodor, greatly praised this work - see Ma'amar Al Peirush Bereishith Rabbah, in Tiphereth Yisrael, I. Lewy Festschrift (Breslau, 1911), pp. 132-54
