Rödelheim: Wolf Heidenheim 1822

The first of a long and celebrated series of Hagadahs printed in Rödelheim. Heidenheim printed two further issues of the Hagadah in this nascent year. From a perusal through the relevant bibliographies, it would appear this Rödelheim edition is the first Hagadah printed in a rectangular format. The innovation of a rectangularly-sized Hagadah served to aid the reader whilst seated at the lavishly set Seder table.
