After Maimonides’ Mishneh Torah, the Sepher Mitzvoth Gadol would be the next significant work of codification, reflecting French halachic tradition. Concerning the author, as well as the purpose, content and order of the Sepher Mitzvoth Gadol, see E.E. Urbach, Ba'alei ha-Tosaphoth, pp. 384-95.
