This scarce Hagadah was issued for surviving members of the Gordonia youth-group in Poland. It combines traditional Hagadah texts alongside Zionist poetry and songs, complete with musical notation. Gordonia was a Zionist pioneering youth movement founded in 1925 in Poland and named for Aaron David Gordon, a philosopher of Labor Zionism who idealized physical labor, mutual aid and human values. In Eretz-Israel Gordonia joined with the Hapoel Hatza'ir youth movement and in 1945 participated in the establishment of the United Kibbutz Movement. Due to subsequent mergers, today, Gordonia no longer exists.
