Printed Admission-ticket to the Funeral of His Late Majesty King George VI, with manuscript additions

On this card the original names inserted in pen were "Mme. Salman, Israeli Embassy" and "Mme. Seeve, Finnish Legation." These names have been deleted and replaced with "Brigadier M. Dayan" and "R[uth] Dayan." Dayan spent the first three months of 1952 at England’s Senior Officers' School at Devizes. Among his instructors was Field Marshal Montgomery, famous for defeating Rommel's Afrika Korps at El Alamein, Egypt during World War II - thus halting the German advance on Palestine
