PERLOW, SHALOM ALTER.

(The Koidanover Rebbe. 1904-1943). Autograph Letter Signed (also signed by his mother, Rivka Henya Perlow). Addressed to a Chassid residing in America and discusses the writer’s impending marriage to the daughter of a chassidic Rebbe in Lodz as well as the marital prospects of his sister. Contains details concerning the economic hardships experienced in Poland and encourages the recipient to arrange for a monthly stipend to be sent to Baranovitch from Koidanover Chassidim in America On letterhead of the writer’s father, Nechemia ben R. Aaron Perlow of Koidanov-Baranovitch
