Named for the recently deceased Rav HaKollel - Chief Rabbi - Jacob Joseph (1848-1902), Yeshivath Rabbenu Ya'akov Yoseph, chartered 1903, was one of the first yeshivoth in the United States. For the better part of the twentieth century, the Yeshiva was housed at 163-5-7 Henry Street on New York's Lower East Side. Of late, the Yeshiva is located in Edison, New Jersey. This charming little Purim gift was intended to raise funds for the Yeshivah.
