A facsimile of the celebrated “Book of Cows” - an important early Yiddish book of fables that first appeared in Verona in 1595, of which only a single copy is extant. It is one of the most profusely illustrated works of early Jewish Literature. It was printed by Abrahan ben Mattitja Bat-Sheva during his years at Verona before he returned to his native Salonika after 1595. The identity of the author has been the subject of much scholarly research.
