An uncommon edition. Yaari located only Vol. II of which he was aware of just a single copy in the Mehlman collection. A further copy located in the JNUL is described by Mehlman, but it too is incomplete. Both of the present volumes here contain a stamp and signature “Akiva Eger.” However, the signature of the family name “Eger” on the front flyleaf and the verso of the title is spelled with an “Ayin” rather than with an “Aleph” as is the printed stamp at the bottom of the title. Also of note, the famous talmudist R. Akiva Eger usually signed his surname as “Ginz”
