Second edition with commentary Beith Yoseph by Joseph Karo. With an interesting elaborate printer’s mark (see Yaari, Hebrew Printer’s Marks p, 18, no. 30) ff. 31, 398. Various owner’s signatures on title and introduction. Censor’s signature at end. Slight marginal worming in a few leaves with sllght repair to title. Some marginal notes in an Italian hand. Modern cloth, spine taped. Folio Vinograd, Venice 491; Amram p. 350. .

Yitzchak Boehm, who states that he corrected many mistakes found in the first edition after examining problematic readings with the Gaon R. Meir of Padua. According to Amram (p.350) this was one of the first books to be printed following the removal of the ban on Hebrew printing in1563
