The second work seems to be copied from a quaint phrase-book for Jewish travellers to Palestine, apparantly issued between 1925 and 1929; (viz (page 68): “I spent an interesting day on Mount Scopus, the Hebrew University is there” [inaugurated 1925]; “I also visited Bezalel - this a School of Arts and Crafts” [closed 1929]). The Jews from the tiny settlement of Parur (outskirts of Cochin, on the Southern Coast of India) were delayed from migrating to the newly reborn State of Israel due to the prevelance of elephantiasis disease found among them. While waiting for their health clearances, this phrase book was utilized in preparation for their new lives in the Hebrew speaking Nation
