Judah Leib Ha’kohen Fishman was born in Bessarabia and educated in the Lithuanian yeshivoth, he immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1913, but spent the years of World War I in America. Fishman occupied important positions in the Zionist General Council and Mizrachi. His most significant legacy was the establishment of Mossad Harav Kook
