A Hebrew version of this pamphlet soliciting support for the Colonial Fund of the Mizrachi, Religious Zionist Movement, appeared the same year. Judah Leib Ha’kohen Fishman was born in Bessarabia and educated in the Lithuanian yeshivoth, he immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1913, but spent the years of World War I in America. Fishman occupied important positions in the Zionist General Council and Mizrachi. His most significant legacy was the establishment of Mossad Harav Kook
