Hebrew manuscript in Ashkenazic, Hungarian cursive script. Black and blue inks on paper. Title within elaborate decorative border with geometric patterns in black, blue and brown inks and floral arrangements in multi-colored tempora along upper corners. Index on final blank ff. 194. Novellae containing halachic discourses preached by the Chasan Sopher on a variety of topics, as well as Aggadic and Sermonic material. Includes comments on the Passover Hagadah on ff. 92v-93v. Frank also includes commentaries heard from others, including the Rabbi of Keizmark (f.93v) and in the name of the Gaon of Vilna (f.113r). The final few leaves contain novellae by Frank’s peers, Mordechai Meisner of Siksa and Tzvi Goldstein of Dedezs, inscribed as a “farewell gift” upon his leaving the Yeshiva
