The Talmudic commentary traditionally attributed to R. Yom Tov Asevilli (Ritv”a) was actually most likely authored by his contemporary R. Crescas Vidal (c.1350) (see Peirush Ritva LeMesechet Gitin, Mossad Rav Kook, pp. 17-20). R. Tzvi Hirsch Berlin (1721-1800), a grandson of the Chacham Tzvi, served as chief rabbi England.
