R. Yisrael Yitzchak Reisman was a member of the Eidah HaChareidith and Av Beth Din of Kehiloth HaChassidim in Jerusalem. Born in Jerusalem, he joined the court of the Eidah HaChareidith at the request of Rabbis Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld and R. Yosef Zvi Duschinsky. An admirer of Ger, R. Reisman was instrumental in the establishment of Jerusalem’s Sefath Emeth Yeshiva in 1925.
