Married into Prague’s illustrious Spira family, R. Ya’akov Reischer (1661-1733), was brothers-in-law with R. David Oppenheim and R. Eliyahu Spira (author of Eliya Rabba). Best known for his responsa, Shvuth Ya’akov, R. Ya’akov Reischer served on the Prague Beth Din and later as rabbi of Ansbach, Worms and Metz (where he is buried).
